Another live off the floor into an Atari outing. This time the keys, drums and synth bass were recorded live and the guitars laid down later. Nowadays loops are so common as to be annoying, but back in 1991, they hadn't quite worn out their welcome and this one is compositional not machine-based (meaning the band played the ostinato part to death as opposed to pushing a button and letting a machine play it to death). As a Moebius strip is a loop and Escher a huge influence on the band, it only made sense to title it accordingly.
